Just got off Twitter and two local Michigan cities are losing their shit over chickens. Troy and Flint are locked in battle with local families over a few backyard birds. I mean, really?
Flint, murder capitol of Michigan (sort of), has threatened the woman owning 8 chickens with having them forcibly removed by the police. Let us pause, and all those who have a working knowledge of chickens can savor the mental image of cops handcuffing a protesting hen. Riiiight.
In Ann Arbor, where we have students strewn all over the place, we are not concerned by a few backyard birds. But that's just us.
So here is my question- can you raise anything but hell and grass in your backyard? Would you want to raise something else?
